The students involved with my grant “Making Pillowcases for the Nim Henson Nursing Home patients” was really excited to continued their community service while improving their Math skills. These students have been using their measurement skills in order to cut out the patterns for 50 pillowcases.

  I would love to sew with the students at my school. Did your students use a sewing machine.

  Yes, the students used the sewing machines. They learned how to use them, a rotary cutter, and a cutting mat with last years ARI grant.
