Students will be learning about how to raise plants in a raised bed. They will be learning about the different types of soils needed to grow plants, the different types of plants that you can grow in a raised bed, how to build it, and how to do an estimate on the cost of the raised beds, the advantages and disadvantages of raised beds.

I really enjoyed the sessions and I believe this year it was a bigger success than others. It just go to show you, the there is a lot of great innovation in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky.
