The E-GLASS was an awesome addition to my classroom and a game changer for non-traditional instruction days. It created an online environment that was more engaging and helped students stayed focused by being able to see the information and the teacher.

My students absolutely enjoyed using the Oculus Quest 2 VR headsets. It enhanced out Science learning experiences greatly. The educational possibilities are endless with this wonderful piece of technology!!!

My students have been working hard in Math Lab. Students are learning through assigned GOOGLE MEET class sessions and have scheduled individual tutoring sessions to help them learn strategies and concepts.

My students are working away on sewing quilt squares that will be made into quilts to donate to local veterans. I love seeing my kids still motivated about online learning! It’s been hard and challenging in so many ways, but I have also been connect with kids one on one. It has brought them out of their shell somewhat. I pray the kids across Kentucky will reach the potential I know they can reach.

We are currently all virtual; however, my students are making me so proud with the commitment on showing their work. I could not be more pleased with the increase of this since they received their digital notebooks. I am so thankful the opportunities this grant has brought into the lives of my students.

We are still completely virtual and I have not been able to see my students yet to share the bridge building supplies. I have been in contact with Mr. Bell who helped with ordering all of the materials through our district. He says there are some books for me at the board once we are back up and running (those would be for the heart application).

Luckily before November I was able to order and distribute my materials to my students. However, at the beginning of November my school district, Perry County Schools, shut down until the beginning of the year. Now that we are back in school I plan to reassess my students for any back slide and take back off as soon as we can.

Kinder Kits can change the way my students learn this school year. I sent kits home to all my Kindergarten students that had manipulatives for Science, Social Studies, Math and Reading. This year has definitly been a different ending than what we thought would happen. Being virtual has been a learning curve and such a great experience. I am so happy with what our students took from our recycling project and how it continued with doing school at home. Now I’m excited to watch the presentations virtually.

I am so excited to see everyone’s presentations! I enjoy reading about the work everyone has completed on their project. Many of my students are using Epic! at home and continuing to read and explore different types of literature and text. I was so happy to see their excitement of reading continue even after school closed in person.

Reading is EPIC! data collection is complete, but I am having to completely rethink the way I intended to use this information due to school closure. I plan to implement this program next year, and I can’t wait to see the results using it from day one!

We have been using our robots and technology to work on coding skills, as well as having a lot of fun learning these skills! We were planning to integrate our robots into our Special Olympics preparation, as well as have an event to share our resources with some friends from other classes, but those are on hold for now.
