Initial Certification Training (first time evaporators of certified staff) is scheduled for August 30 and 31 at Hazard Community college. Please register at KASA website.

The first in a series of 4 PDAS 1/2 day orientations takes place at KVEC Offices on Friday, August 26 form 9:00 to 12:00. Come learn how PDAS is a unique approach to data collection, analysis, and decision making.

The Student Voice window in Infinite Campus will be from September 1 through March 1. There will be two reporting periods, at the end of December and again in mid-March. Districts will schedule their own windows. More information will be forthcoming.

This is an interesting publication. It is the first time that I have seen anything on data use standards. The goal of the standards is the effective use of data by teachers and administrators to support student learning for success. District 50/50 committees can begin making the edits to their CEPs based on this year’s experiences and adding language for OPGES which will be full implementation in 2015-2016. More info will come after KBE meeting about other district personnel.
