I am excited to get this new year started with the best students and staff in Mrs. Wrights Life Management Classroom. I have learned so much in such a short time and everyday it seems to be getting better. Life Management class makes my day better because it gives me skills I can use in and outside of school. I enjoy the positive environment and the way everyone supports each other, which makes the class feel welcoming. Each day I leave feeling like I have learned something new that will help me in the real world, and that makes the class one of the best parts of my day.

I have learned so much in such a small time and everyday it seems to be getting better. These Life management kids are so special to me. They have made my high school experience so much better. Coming to help with these kids brighten up my whole entire week.

As a Peer Mentor you will have a real opportunity to make a difference in others lives. My biggest advice is to be patient, stay organized, and always lead by example. Dear Future Peer Mentor,

Don’t take your time in this class for granted. It will go by so fast. I have learned so much from these students and have built many connections this year. This class has taught me how to be more social and branch out to talk to more people. I loved my experience throughout the year in Ms. Bartley’s class and I am sure you will too. Hello, I am Addison Blackburn Pike County Central High School. Becoming a peer tutor this year has changed my life in many ways. Being with the students and learning more about them and just being around them is my favorite part of the day. I have made many bonds with these students that have made my life better. Hello, my name is Corby H. I am a peer mentor with Angela Bartley’s classroom. At first this year I was a little bit nervous to begin this class but now I can say this class is amazing. The connections I make with not only the students but the teachers as well has been a blessing. I can not wait for all the wonderful memories I will continue to make this school year.
