My son enjoys his books he receives in Imagination Library. It is a great program.

Children have been using their new tablets to code and make stories on PBS scratch Jr. They have learned about plot,setting and characters. We are still looking for an awesome coding app that is age appropriate that focuses on letter identification and phonics.

Amber Maggard and I have been conducting an empathy instructional study this semester. We hope to have some findings from our fall semester research by the end of December. We plan to replicate the study with a larger class in the spring semester.

Spread the word. The Action Research Summit is scheduled for April 12 at Pikeville Expo Center. This earlier date was chosen to avoid conflicts with state testing.

In addition to all the great research projects emerging across the region, I’m interested in learning more about David Chapman, Tristin Cunniff, and Jill Maynard’s music skills!! Everyone – Breathitt County has scheduled their soft launch of Imagination Library for the evening of April 26 at LBJ Elementary. More information will be forth-coming.

Additional counties will be scheduling their events in the next couple of weeks. Visit this Holler to get more info!

We are working currently to schedule some additional “soft” launch events in the region for Imagination Library. As those dates are scheduled, we will post them here on the Holler and distribute info in each county.

Thank you for your quick response! That does help. I wanted to be sure I follow all guidelines and limitations. Thank you again.

Last year certain sections had word limitations, but not every section. I believe it is the same way this year. While it doesn’t necessarily have to be lengthy, I suggest being as concise and descriptive as possible so that the scorers understand what you want to accomplish with your project and how you will measure your desired outcome. Hope that helps!
