I think I heard that the TCT’s were no longer being required to send to the state?? Is this accurate?

Can we post questions here? I had a question about students who score distinguished? If they score distinguished one year and then the next how do they show growth?

A great assessment strategy I use is to follow up any summative with student analysis so they will take ownership of their performance. Formative assessments are used throughout lessons to guide instruction.

My biggest concern regarding rich curriculum after reviewing the Academic Course Codes is the requirement of staffing for my school. Our financial situation in our district does not allow for more staffing to support the suggested courses. Our school will do the best we can to meet the requirements through creative scheduling.

My ARI mini grant has helped to add to my classroom. Students are using technology on a regular basis to study science. We have been able to add a new area for computer station work. The student engagement has greatly improved.

A tradition we have on Thanksgiving is we always have family over to eat. A family tradition that we have on Christmas is we always put a Christmas tree up. We also decorate the house with decorations. We always have Christmas dinner with family, and lastly we always have presents.

Our family Thanksgiving isn’t anything special, it’s basic and ordinary. We fix traditional food, such as; turkey, ham, pumpkin pie, etc… I believe this tradition, known as ThanksGiving is special. I think it brings culture and families together. Bulking up for winter and hitting new PR’s is my tradition during the Thanks Giving holiday.
