Learning Innovation Grant Recipient
High school history and geography students will create an interactive digital timeline of recent history arranged by era and theme. The focus will be on issues and perspectives in the local community. In order to accomplish this project, students will write questions and conduct video and audio interviews of community
members in Floyd County about a variety of historical and geographic topics. These interviews will be compiled and preserved as authentic local primary sources that can be used in future coursework.
