Johnson County Schools celebrated a major milestone this month with the groundbreaking of a new Johnson Central High School and Career & Technical Education (CTE) Center.
The nearly $100 million project will expand opportunities for students, adding 32 career pathways and providing much-needed space for a student body that has outgrown the current building. With $39 million in state funding supporting the effort, the new facility is set to open by fall 2027.
This investment marks a bright future for Johnson County students, blending strong academics with hands-on career preparation.
