ARI Tech Tuesday 09-30-14

The Tech Tuesday Update this week is dominated primarily by Promising Practices from the field.  Read about Belfry and Shelby Valley High School students teaching and reaching out to their elementary feeder schools, while Campton Elementary students visit the Knoxville Zoo.  District Technology Coordinators will want to pay special attention to this week’s Questions of the Week regarding asset tags for the NxGN classroom equipment and 1 to 1 devices.  Joseph reports that all Q-tablets have been delivered and docking stations will soon follow.  Jeff Coots highlights a common problem overlooked when setting up Lync for the first time on a MacBook and Andrew Castle shares the Twitter hashtag for the upcoming Promising Practice Summit on October 24th.  You may want to take a look under Links/Resources Worth a Look for a Device Care Poster that Neil Arnett shared this past week specifically suited for elementary students.
