In my opinion, inquiry is a form of learning that relies on the natural human characteristic of questioning. It is something that we as human beings, especially children, do naturally. Inquiry based learning allows students to take advantage of this natural process and use it to their advantage in the classroom. With inquiry, there is really no right or wrong way of thinking. There are many different ways of obtaining information based on the individual needs of the students and the questions that they may ask. I believe that inquiry based learning should be a more hands-on approach that allows students the opportunity to dig deeper into subjects in the classroom and explore many different areas on the topic, instead of just trying to limit their learning to certain things that may be on a test at the end of the unit.
