My CmPS team’s project, “Helping Our Heroes” – I will be posting some of the team’s accomplishments, as well as a mini scrapbook of the team’s project. Thank you to ARI STARS for the support!

The W.R. Castle Elementary CmPS team, “Helping Our Heroes,” chose to assist the Ft. Campbell Military Base during the 2015-2016 school year. After identifying that over 50% of families living on the base struggled financially and that a large percentage of deployed soldiers were not receiving emotional support from home, the team decided to host events to help raise money and initiate a district-wide letter writing day in order to help improve these issues. Helping Our Heroes is a 3-step project to offer financial and on-going emotional support to the residents of Ft. Campbell’s Military Base in order to positively impact their lives by increasing morale.
