Hey guys! I am a Spanish 1A student learning about Dia de los Muertos. What I’ve learned is that its The day of the dead. It’s kinda like Halloween and Memorial day mixed into one holiday. The people dress up in costumes and celebrate / memorize the people and children who have passed on. The people of this tradition decorate the graves and sometimes shoot off fireworks in memory of their lost loved ones. They also sing and dance fir them. They have special foods they eat such as a certain bread and LOTS of candy, I think that’s one part of the Halloween subject. Thank you for your time!
