Ok so…. we have been virtual for over a month now and will remain virtual at least until January, and students are struggling. With different quarantines and high COVID numbers and just struggle with engagement and students even logging into BlackBoard or email, I have been unable to even pass out RocketBooks. They are scheduled to be handed out the first days of return to school in January. I have been utilizing an IBL technique in class, but school wide our engagement is struggling, most of my classes have seen slightly more engagement than others until Thanksgiving, but have severely dropped after the holiday. We are still working hard each day to engage and create curiosity in students!
