Learning Innovation Grant Recipient
It is imperative that students become competent global citizens. Many life skills cannot be learned in the classroom. The Kentucky Standards for Social Studies is predicated on the C3 Framework—College, Career, and Civic Life. Civic Life can be the most challenging precept of this framework. The formation of
a Civics Club will serve as the vehicle to create opportunities that will allow students to learn how they can become engaged in civic life through state-level government simulations, competitions and community service activities.
