Dia de los Muretos is celebrated the day after All Saints Day. Most people have “alters” which is like a decorative grave where you take goods and put them all around them. The most used flower is the Marigold which is like a very orange flower. Many people dress up and go around dancing and celebrating all night.
Copals are used as an incense used around many of the alters. There are many skull themed based costumes such as “the pelona.” Before the festival people go and clean the graves just because. “Mole” is a popular dish that involves choclate and is quite spicy depending on how you make it.
