A resource that I’ve used is “Uncovering Student Ideas in Science- 25 New Formative Assessment Probes” by lead author, Page Keeley. This book is volume 4 out of a series of books. This resource is labeled for all grades levels K-12. It is really easy to find a topic in the table of contents because it is categorized by science (life, physical,etc) and even has the suggested grade level of the probes. These assessment probes have been helpful to show misconceptions students may have as well as show correct or partial correctness in student thinking. This book series is also backed by NSTA.
