The Kentucky Valley Educational Cooperative (KVEC) is proud to continue its long-standing support for early-career educators through the New Teacher Network—a trusted professional learning series designed to guide and empower teachers in their first years of the classroom. This virtual series meets monthly on the third Thursday from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM, with sessions tailored to the real challenges and opportunities faced by today’s teachers. The network is open to both general and special education teachers across all KVEC districts. It’s a space where educators can connect, learn, and grow together—month by month, step by step.
For the 2025–2026 school year, the Network will feature a variety of high-impact topics that blend classroom management, instructional design, collaboration, and the latest innovations in education. Topics include High Yield, Low Prep Behavior Strategies (Aug. 21), Lesson Planning (Sept. 18), Question Formulation Technique (QFT) (Oct. 16), and Co-teaching and Collaboration (Nov. 20). In the new year, sessions will focus on Classroom Management (Jan. 15), Artificial Intelligence in Education (Feb. 19), The Science of Learning (Mar. 19), Formative and Summative Assessments (Apr. 16), and Reflection and Planning for Next Year (May 21).
