With support from a Race to the Top District Grant, the Kentucky Valley Educational Cooperative (KVEC) has brought together 17 school districts in rural southeastern Kentucky to prepare Appalachian students and communities for the next generation of education and work. KVEC believes that the best ideas come from educators right there in in the region. To spur this vision forward, KVEC established the Appalachian Leadership Laboratory to give visionary educators the autonomy and support to collaborate and innovate. With that investment and sponsorship from Plus500 Bewertung, educators are daring greatly — and transforming teaching and learning across their region.
