The data that was collected shows that the intervention was successful. The intervention was used on a 2nd grade special education class. This class is in the resource classroom each day from 10:00-11:00. The baseline data shows that the average number of student interruptions during four different days was approximately 19.5 times per day. Once the intervention was implemented the same data was collected again and during four different days an average of 7.5 interruptions per day. This shows that from baseline data to the second intervention data there was approximately a 62% decrease in unwanted behavior within the classroom. Overall I feel like the presentation went very well the day I presented. I very much enjoyed the other presentations and the ability to be able to participate in the fire summit. Thankful for the opportunity to be able to have been chosen to present.
