While reflecting upon our school year here at Betsy Layne High School, I noticed that I have not followed up on our “Polar Express” night. It was quite a success. We had several families from the community show up for popcorn, a movie (Polar Express) and all the children were read a book of their choice. Several of the high school students…[Read more]

For Allen Elementary’s third story, I created an i-movie highlighting the process of collaboration in our school building. We have so many community partners who help make our school successful.-
Reflection for story number 3: There are so many partners who make our school great. Outside agencies bring in programs. Others support us by attending events, bringing food, donating clothing and money for fundraisers. AES is blessed to have support from the community.

I was happy to be a part of this amazing group! Each and everyone is inspiring and so dedicated to raising children to be proud of Eastern Kentucky. Our little school has been so busy like everyone else. We put on a sold out performance of Peter Pan. Again, our community came out in support. We had parent volunteers who did lighting, sound, and…[Read more]
