Please accept this invitation to attend the Kentucky Valley Educational Cooperative’s (KVEC) fourth National Competency-Based and Micro-Credential Summit on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 5-6, 2020, at the Crowne Plaza Conference Center at 830 Phillips Lane in Louisville, KY. The Conference Center is a short complimentary shuttle ride from the airport to the hotel.
This year’s forum will bring together representation from local, state and national education organizations to discuss progress made in various states which use micro-credentials as one component of a continuous professional learning system. Presentations will demonstrate models that include micro-credentialing as one pathway within a teacher compensation system.
Day 1 will be a full day of learning and networking beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending by 4:00 p.m. Day 2 will begin at 8:00 a.m. consisting of formalized networking opportunities and a discussion regarding the development of a micro-credential national consortium. The summit ends before noon on Wednesday.
We are limited in space, so this event is by invitation only. The event registration fee is $268.00. A block of rooms has been reserved until April 4, 2020, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville, KY for $123 nightly, plus related fees.
