The 2nd grade students at Dorton Elementary were able to Skype with Jonathan Emmett, author of ” The Princess and the Pig” and many, many more, via the Mondopad!!! That is wonderful, Mary Beth and Rebecca…those students are learning real world skills about communication and technology to name a couple! Not to mention also encouraging a love of reading!!

Mary Beth this so exciting! The students in our schools can go anywhere and do anything-and meet folk that we never dreamed possible. Are we “Leveling the Playing Field” or what! Pike is doing great things.
