Students have been busy learning about the nutrient requirements of plants so that the float bed can be dialed in perfectly to provide enough nutrients for the plants using nothing but water. Students have been using the aquaponics tank in the greenhouse to test and figure things out in order to learn the exact parameters needed. The knowledge gained from this project is invaluable and make teaching this complex lesson so much easier for me, and makes learning all the more fun and involved.
