For their verbal final exams, my students were able to use their tablets to create verbal recordings on Anchor and Vocaroo. Check out the Anchor and Vocaroo websites for some great resources!! Also, thanks to Chris Epling from KVEC/Epling Illustrations for his visits to my class.

Kindle use in class
The kindles are getting a lot of use! I have two small classes in which I can have every student use the kindles at once. For my other classes, students take turns using the kindles, they work in groups, or they use a variety of devices. Students from 2 other teacher’s classes borrow the kindles regularly as well.

South Floyd Middle School did a wonderful job on helping us learn more about weather using the Spanish language. They spoke very clearly when they were speaking and the pictures they used were extremely helpful in understanding what they were saying, especially for younger kids. The way they taught about the weather was very well done.
