The Harlan County High School CmPS team conducted a survey among their peers and determined that the most effective way to help the student population is to integrate a type of life skills class that will give students a particular set of skills to assist their pursuit of higher education or a place in the workforce. The team’s goal is to prepare students so the the next stages of their life will be easier to obtain. In order to do this a curriculum was created in hopes that it will assist students in their pursuit for life in the real world. The team has received positive feedback about the need for such a class from educators and students alike.
