My grant art makes you smART
Students are being challenged with project based learning both at school and the community. We went on our field trip. Community partners taught them art,cooking, safety and crafts. -

Students worked with a partner and chose from three cookie recipes. They chose the cookie that wanted to make. They had directions to follow: go shopping for the ingredients, calculate the amount of each ingredient they would need, and how much they would cost to make. I also collaborated with our talented and gifted teacher during this project. We will work together on the culminating event also.
