Wolfe County CMP project was a success. The students wanted to focus on improving literacy in our community. With a book drive, family literacy game night and illustrating their own children’s book, I feel they did improve literacy. They took leadership roles and organized these events. They partnered with other organizations and it was a huge hit. During the summit students started gather other ideas and have already begun working on other project ideas. We started with 15 students and we ended with 15 leaders! That is an amazing head!!
