Composting is a fun addition to ANY school garden. At Pikeville Elementary, we use organic food scraps from the school cafeteria. We gather leaves and grass clippings around school and even bring them from home. Pikeville Elementary School has gradually implemented a school garden that is providing Project Based Learning for students of all ages.
