My mini grant activity is now complete. I chose to do a lab called Hiker Lab (part of Laying The Foundation/NMSI). It required using Vernier LabQuests and motion detectors to recreate graphs of distance versus time. It was a success and I look forward to sharing how well my kids did! I also found a great assessment for this that ties strongly in with math.
