Storyboard Resource!!
Please copy and paste the link at the end of this description to view the resource. For some reason, when I try to include links here on the website, the “Post Update” button disappears and I am unable to share the link directly. Again, please read everything below before visiting the link!
Storyboards act as the blueprints to your book. Although they are often associated more with film, storyboards serve as a valuable resource for illustrators, cartoonist, and artists who are creating images to go along with a story.
Although the content found on this link deals more with film rather than print, you will find interesting examples of how these artists chose to create their storyboard.
Pay attention to how they decide the “angle”, or “perspective”, for the viewer (in our case, the reader).
For more information pertaining to angle and perspective, please refer to the second tutorial once it’s up here on the site.
