Sebastian Middle School Breathitt County.
My project involved using robotics to help build better math students. Throughout the year my students used the design process to build and program robots to perform useful real-world tasks. The students wrote instruction manuals for their original creations and they used mathematics in the programming and design of their creations. Students participating in this project showed substantially higher growth in math and science than their peers not participating on the MAP test. The project was a tremendous success.
