Being a member of the Appalachian Renaissance Initiative allowed my students the opportunity for learning opportunities and activities that would have other wise been very hard to obtain. The addition of 7 LearnPads to my classroom have been awesome. We have been able to complete activities that normally, I wouldn’t have tried. The LearnPads allowed more technology in my classroom. Also, I couldn’t have completed my project without the donations of wonderful people that donate through an organization called, DonorsChoose.org. These caring people funded the Legos and Platforms to build or zoos. I can’t thank them enough! I have been blessed to have been involved in this program.
