My ARI Project was a television show my first graders used to showcase their learning. The show is called “Good Day, Kentucky!” and is modeled after the morning television show “Good Morning, America. This movie was created after the children learned about schools from long ago and today. It included a cooking segment, a fashion segment, and a lifestyle segment. To produce this show, the students learned to use a Flip Camera and to edit the film segments by pulling them into the movie timeline. They also used Skype and learned how to listen to the speaker and to ask appropriate questions. I’m very proud of these first graders.
