ATTENTION STUDENT AUTHORS / ILLUSTRATORS: April 27th is your first official book signing at the Innovation Research Summit. A lot of students were considering creating things to hand out at their table. I would suggest thinking of possible banners to hang in the front of your table with your business logo and name on it, as well as business cards and a separate flyer with information about YOU! There were some requests concerning business card examples. Here’s mine. Front and back. You don’t need to design anything too complex… and don’t worry about going to some printing store like Staples, Office Max, etc. All you need is your school’s printer in the main office. Use thicker paper (construction paper) borrowed from your art teacher. That’s all you need. Remember… to be young business owners, you have to think ‘outside the box’ to make things happen. At least until you are able to purchase items printed from stores like I mentioned earlier using the monies earned through your sales!
