Update on Young Authors’ Project — Kindergarten/First grade, Marie Roberts-Caney Elementary

We are currently coming to a close on nonfiction productions. Some students have worked independently, while most chose a collaborative effort, to research and produce a nonfiction book about their favorite animals.
Also, this year, we have written opinion pieces and fiction pieces. Students have also created biographies of famous Americans also. Our color laser printer has enabled students to print writing pieces that they can be proud of!
