The Miracle of Life Project in my first grade classroom was a huge success. Students used technology such as a digital incubator purchased with my ARI grant money, iPads to make videos each day, and an ova scope students used to watch the development and movement of the chicks inside the egg. After the chicks hatched they were placed in a brooder box in which students got to witness the stages of a chicken. Students were then given an opportunity to adopt the chicks and take them off.
