I received two grants, this one and one for the STARS program. We are raising Koi, with the intent to sell them to landscapers for hobby ponds and for individuals for ponds, fountains etc. We currently have a 1000 gallon and a 400 gallon tank in production. We also have a smaller aquaponics tank we purchased with a grant last year that is in production. We currently have about 250 Koi in our system. Our system is working pretty well. The kids really enjoy the fish and the tanks. They take pride in what they are doing. So far the fish are doing really well. We are planning to do a video next week that I will upload.
We competed in the STARS contest at Morehead State University.
