My 5th grade students have been busy researching types of ancient forms of government as well as types of government systems that many Native American tribes had. Next, we will look at what principles the U.S. government was founded on and why colonists wanted the government to be this way. After that, we will be looking at present government and attending our fiscal court meeting.
