I’m new to 5th grade Social Studies this year and one thing that stood out to me immediately was the need for spiral review. With that in mind, we started using 180 Days of SOCIAL STUDIES for Fifth Grade. It seems so simple and worksheet like, but the students actually ask to have these as an assignment. They like that it is quick and they can “show off” what they remember. I have also used the text and questions in other formats and used as Google Classroom assignments.
