My grant was the to serve as the beginning of a library Makerspace and has certainly served its purpose. Along with several other grants, we are slowly equipping our school with plenty of STEAM materials. Our new challenge is storing the items in an organized and protected way. The items need to be mobile and not out in the open library at all times. This space is used by many groups on evenings and weekends, so the need to protect our materials from curious (but possibly unsupervised) hands is a necessity.
