Sometimes the FIRECAST team shows up at a school and there are too many things going on to fit it into one video; that is when the FIRECAST minisodes happen. This past week we visited Belfry High School and their students had a multitude of things going on in a single classroom.
One side of the classroom was fine-tuning their robot to present at the FIRESummit next week and on the other side there were several students building a 3D Filament extruder to combine plastic pellets with the invasive plant species kudzu. Everywhere you looked in this STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) classroom students were working together to solve problems and making new discoveries.
Check out the three latest FIRECAST minisodes highlighting Belfry High School’s STEM students.
