  • Our district has had discussion around the Kentucky’s Uniform Academic Course Codes and this is probably our biggest concern about the new accountability system. We are a small rural district with bare bones staff. Every year, our district faces a reduction in funding so the challenge to provide students opportunity and access to all of these…Read More

    • I definitely understand the struggle your school is facing, as mine is also facing it. We have multiple teachers teaching multiple preps (some even teaching 5 preps!), and I wonder how our curriculum development and instruction would dramatically change if we only had 1-2 preps. What I do know is that our school moving to a 1 to 1 initiative has allowed us to explore more…Read More

    • Understood. Was shared yesterday in assessment webcast that Pearson platform for high school EOCs is the beginning of the next steps towards online KPREP state testing. 1 to 1 will serve you well as we move in this direction.

    • You are 100% correct about the staffing issue especially when all we do is cut funding in this state.
