The Cat Mobile renovation is well underway. All construction materials have been delivered. The wrap design is finished and we are collaborating with Young Signs, a local family-owned company, to have it installed. Sponsorship letters are going out today to local businesses to fund the next phase of the project.

The Letcher Co. Central Student Senate as well as the faculty and staff are anxiously awaiting the delivery of our outdoor classroom building materials on Friday. Construction will begin on Saturday. We will post updates and pictures as soon as it is completed.

We have been working on our needs list for purchase. We had originally planned to purchase a complete transportable sound system. The principal provided us some in kind contributions of speakers and an older mixer/amp. What was needed now was items to complete the system. Hurricane Michael has slowed our building progress due to the availability of certain materials. We have what we need now but are waiting for better weather to complete the project. The roof is all that is left and our Pavilion will be complete.
