This year my students created businesses for the school mall. One of the businesses provided cleaning service to teachers. In another business, students had a show consignment where they would purchase gently used shoes and resale them. These students recently attended KickFest in Lexington and set up their business there. This project has been highly beneficial to students because it gives them a foundational knowledge needed to become entrepreneurs. Both of these business plan on continuing outside of this project.
