Although the weather was a challenge many braved the elements to participate in the Personalized Learning Workshop and found it well worth the effort. I am posting all materials and handouts in Resources.

I found this article, which is a presentation about using technology in the early years. There are videos (very short (less than minute each) – straight to the point), descriptions: what the school does for each grade level pk – 3 , what research states, and what to look for. I reviewed them all in about 15 minutes.

WONDERFUL RESOURCE The US Holocaust Memorial Museum offers an online experience, “Some Were Neighbors” to explore the role of “onlookers”” during the Holocaust…those who helped the victims and those who helped the Nazis. Includes teacher resources for lessons on analyzing images, etc.

The Personalized Learning workshop was one of the best professional learning experiences I have had the opportunity to attend! The information, reflection, and discussion was very timely in our work!
