Hello everyone. Hope you had a great weekend and a very happy Mother’s Day. I’ve received quite a few questions concerning the final steps in submitting your student’s work, so let me give you an update on that and what to expect from the “Art Gallery Workshop” moving forward.
Later on today I will be submitting a PDF to help those who are having trouble with the scanning/printing portion of the program. A video was planned for this aspect of the final stages, but in order to create an efficient tutorial, we would have needed access to a scanner and large format printer/copier as well (similar to most found in school offices).
Instead, I created a video recapping recent topics, then rewarded the students with a tutorial on how to draw some of their favorite characters from comics, animated movies, cartoons, and books. That video hasn’t been uploaded yet, but I’ve contacted the folks at the “Holler” about it. Should be up soon!!
As for the scanning/printing portion of this program, along with the new extended deadline, please check back here on the “Holler” later on today for the PDF concerning these requirements.
I appreciate all the involvement from students, teachers, and educators during this workshop. There have been a few speed bumps along with the way, but that’s to be expected with any new and groundbreaking initiative. Your understanding of this means a lot. Hopefully, should we have the opportunity to conduct a similar program as this one day, we will have these issues resolved for that time around. The goal is to continue to get better, and that’s what we will do as long as we are all on the same page (no pun intended).
Thanks so much everyone. Please look for that PDF a little later on today!
