My classroom redesign grant was used to purchase furniture to create alternative seating and seating choices for my students. I have seen more student engagement during lessons and individual work as well as improvement in time-on-task. The students have really enjoyed the change and say they look forward to coming to class each day. I feel this change has been a great success and would recommend to any teacher to give it a try. Even some small changes can make a big difference!
