This is a link describing how students can make live Skype telephone calls to obtain information from hotels and restaurants in Spanish-speaking countries. It only costs $0.02 cents per minute for students to call Spain. While this is intended for Spanish students, the activity could be applied for other languages. Just Google hotels, city name, country name. Then click on maps. A large number of hotels and/or restaurants will pop up on the maps with red dots.
