    • I think one thing that has to occur: we need to bring high-tech jobs like programming and electrical engineering out of the realm of ” they do that somewhere else.” There is no real reason a programming company couldn’t locate in our region. “Our internet is faster than your internet.”

  • The resources Earl developed for Personalized Learning are great and would be excellent to use during a staff development at each school and go deeper to personalize for elementary, middle and high!

    • I agree Dessie. Districts or schools have everything they need to provide a training that is customized to district need.

    • The Personalized Learning session was excellent! I would encourage folks to take advantage of everything on the Holler, especially those who were unable to attend either session due to the bad weather. There is huge value !

    • I thought the best thing that I took away from the training was the way he used personal stories to relate the significance of personalized learning. When school leaders conduct training on this, they need to relate their own life experiences to personalized learning to make the training relevant for their audience.

    • Earl Hughes’ Personalized Learning training was extremely informative and well worth the time and commitment. Given the opportunity, those in attendance should be able to present to their district teachers and staff the foundation of Personalized Learning and dispel myths and misinformation.
